Location :  Fortmills SC

Preferred : People must be either in North Carolina or South Carolina

Secondary: Remote (Not Preferred)

 

Job Description:

• 3-4 years of demonstrated experience in Apache Kafka/Confluent Kafka platform technologies in an enterprise environment. Your technical proficiency includes Kafka architecture, administration & developer experience, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and experience in one or more multi-platform environments(On Prem, Cloud or Containers)

• Confluent Kafka admin and developer certification is preferred.

• 4-5 years of hands on programming experience in one or more object-oriented languages such as Java or C# and SQL/No SQL database technologies.

• 2-3 years of working experience in Linux and shell scripting, Ansible Automation with in depth knowledge of networking and one or more of security protocols (TCP/IP, MTLS, SSL, Kerberos etc.,)

• Experience in DevOps, scrum/agile methodologies and using CI/CD tools such as JIRA, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, TFS

• Experience in software packaging, installation and build methods

• You have excellent social and organizational skills, able to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and changing priorities

• You have strong communication skills with the ability to influence manage and articulate clearly to project stakeholders and senior management

• You have a positive, do what it takes attitude to drive success

• You are a detail-oriented individual who has confidence with project tracking, reports, metrics and presentations and follow the ITIL process and controls.

• You are proficient with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project, or other analytical tools associated with project management
