Skill : Oracle EBS Integration (EDI) Sr Developer

Duration : 6-12+ months Contract
Job Description:
Person will be a key member of our Application Development team and will focus on Oracle EBS integration development. Primarily responsible for developing Oracle E-commerce Gateway integrations and other ERP related interfaces. This role also provides application technical support, develops and maintains custom programs, reports and forms utilizing Oracle Release 12.1.3 E-Business Suite. The Developer will have comprehensive knowledge of the dependencies and relationships between EBS modules. This role will be responsible for working with users, fellow IT resources, vendors on resolution of production issues.
- 10-15+ of experience in Oracle EBS (11i/R12) development and 6+ years in supporting EDI integrations with Oracle EBS
- Development experience in Oracle EBS eCommerce XML Gateway
- Extensive experience with EDI documents and mapping expertise in Oracle EBS. Strong knowledge and experience in the transactions like 810, 850,855,856,860,865, etc.
- Experience in on boarding activities of new customers and experience in working with 3rd party vendors (who handles the EDI VAN / translators)
- Strong experience with E-Business Suite R12 (12.1.3) modules primarily in Order to Cash cycle. Experience working in a multi-Org manufacturing environment. Thorough knowledge of Oracle API's and Open Interface tables.
- Experience in RICE Customizations of Oracle Applications R12
- Extensive SQL, PL/SQL, OAF developments skills Experience in design and development of complex Oracle Forms and Reports
- Experience using the AIM methodology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services preferred
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, architect Oracle EDI, XML integration with suppliers, customers in Order to Cash business functions.
- Collaborate with External partners, provide guidance to build new maps and maintain existing interfaces.
- Provide on-going maintenance support to EDI transactions, processes and application development. Support EDI transactions in multiple formats
- Lead the development and participate in all phases of project lifecycle. Develop advanced solutions in Oracle EBS and related technologies and tools. Create technical designs from business requirements, engineer and develop technical solutions based on those designs.
- Develop, customize, implement, enhance and support Oracle Application API's
- Work closely with business users and IT team members to develop Oracle EBS integration solutions to meet business requirements. Coordinate with team members to work on solutions and perform design/code reviews.
