Complete Description:

 

Northwest Ohio Regional Information System (NORIS) currently has 500+ Crystal Reports that require migration to SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

 

The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) provides fiscal administration for Northwest Ohio Regional Information System (NORIS).  NORIS serves as a centralized repository for criminal justice information in Northwest Ohio.  NORIS provides data sharing, data integration, software, identity management and cross agency/jurisdiction work flow for criminal justice agencies.  Data is linked using a Regional ID (RID). 

 

NORIS currently has 500+ Crystal Reports that require migration to SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). 

 

Responsibilities:

 

•             Conversion of existing Crystal Reports to SSRS.

•             Ability to gather requirements based on users, develop, test and deploy reports.

•             Testing / debugging reports and SQL statements.

•             Maintain Crystal Reports Server (2016) and our standard report library until all reports are converted.

•             Learn our business processes and operations to be able to provide support to business applications users.

•             Follow up on all production issues and customer inquiries to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.

•             Document functionality and designs of reports.

 

Qualifications:

 

•             Proficient using SQL Server SSRS. 

•             Experience with Crystal Reports 2016 running standalone against Microsoft SQL Server.

•             Proficient with SQL Server including the ability to optimize queries to efficiently retrieve data.

•             Experience writing SQL Stored Procedures and transact-SQL.

•             Good analytical skills with attention to detail.

•             Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Tableau a plus.

•             Excellent oral and written communication required.
