Requirement Details

Position: Data Integration Developer (Databricks/Python)

Location: Remote

 

Top Sills needed:

Python-5 to 7 years exp

Java-5 to 7 years exp

Databricks-2+ years exp

 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks.

•Leverage AWS services in solution design and implementation, including Lambda, API Gateway.

•Engages in all aspects of enterprise SDLC and follows with minimal oversight best practices relating to: peer review techniques, principles of software composition, branching, deployment, and documentation

 

Qualifying Requirements, in order of importance:

•     6+ years of experience in the design and implementation of complex solutions

• 6+ years of hands-on implementation experience in the following skills: Java, Python, PySpark , Springboot
• Current Databricks Certification
• At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering data engineering solutions with Databricks
• Highly proficient at SQL development
• Experience handling large and complex sets of data from various sources and databases
• Solid grasp of database engineering and design principles
• Familiarity with CI/CD methods desired

•     Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, fluent in English

• Comfortable working in an Agile environment

 

Preferred Experience:

•Experience with driving design sessions with stakeholders, decomposing the goals into small deliverables, and ensuring implementation meets the stakeholders' goals

•Building solutions hosted in AWS

•Proficiency with data structure, algorithm analysis, and UI concurrency tooling

 

Education / Training:

•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, equivalent work experience can be substituted for a degree

 

Nice to have skills:

•Healthcare experience

•Terraform

•Jenkins

•Java
