Position Description:

 

This position will be a Business Analyst involved in the testing of maintenance / updates to the Oracle-based UWORKS system. It also includes the management of the conversion project to move UWORKS to the web. The understanding of UWORKS mediated & self-service systems is essential to this position.

 

The candidate selected must have the skills / qualifications noted below:

Plan out work and coordinate tasks using JIRA
Communicate effectively with developers in screen design and layout
Detailed understanding of mediated UWORKS form functionality for updates, testing bugs, and developing plans to convert to a web-based environment
Work with the customers to support production systems, including debugging and assisting in fixing production problems, working with others to optimize production trouble spots.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions
Analytical and detail-oriented
Ability to develop plans (macro / micro) for the rewritten UWORKS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills in meeting management, including handling disagreements and managing time
Advanced problem-solving skills
Participates in the design process and document design changes.
Ability to test changes and participate in design reviews
SQL Navigator familiarity along with knowledge of UWORKS tables and skills in writing SQL statements for finding / updating data
