Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: Hybrid- Cedar Rapids or Des Moines, Iowa

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Client is casting a line for a dynamic DevOps Engineer. This is a contract opportunity in Cedar Rapids or Des Moines Iowa.

 

The DevOps Engineer will build and deploy application code and deploy resources to Azure, working both as part of the team and individually. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying pipelines and resources throughout the software development lifecycle.

 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3 – 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer with the following experiences:

o   Azure DevOps Experience.

o   Experience with YAML in relation to code builds, deployments, and resource creation.

o   Experience with Bicep, ARM, and/or Terraform templates.

o   Source code management and branching strategy knowledge and experience.

o   PowerShell and Python.

o   Familiarity with cloud-based application architecture and implementation.

  • Demonstrative written and verbal communication skills to audiences with a wide variety of technical knowledge.
  • Very strong troubleshooting skills towards root cause analysis and practical issue resolution.
  • Ability to independently research items and make recommendations to the team.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)

  • Insurance industry experience preferred.
