Role: IT Business Analyst/Consultant with Change Management Exp

Location: Atlanta, GA (Locals only)

Duration: Long Term


Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Take full ownership of assigned projects, providing leadership and guidance to ensure objectives are met within defined constraints (scope, time, budget, quality).

Organization Change Management (OCM) Leadership: Help drive change initiatives, assess change impact, develop and execute change management strategies and plans that maximize adoption of the change, minimize resistance to organizational, process, and technology changes. Develop Change Management Strategies which include Stakeholder engagement, Sponsorship, Coaching, Communications across different stakeholder groups, and manage change readiness.

Technical Oversight: Leverage technical expertise to understand project requirements, identify potential challenges, and provide solutions. Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure successful execution.

Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, creating schedules, allocating resources, and managing risks. Monitor progress, track milestones, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and clients. Provide regular updates on project status, address concerns, and manage expectations.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline project management processes, enhance efficiency, and improve overall project delivery.

 

Qualifications:

Technical Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven technical experience in a role such as a programmer, DBA, architect, or similar.

Project Management Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus. Experience working with the Judicial System is preferred.

OCM Skills: Understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g. Prosci ADKAR)

Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, build consensus, and resolve conflicts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.

Results-Oriented: Track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budge 


Job Title:  SR. Master Business/Data Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA (Locals Only F2F Interview)

Duration: Long Term

Client: State of VA(VDOT)

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Project team members and business stakeholders to understand business processes and data flows
• Develop expertise in the customers' datasets and data lifecycle
• Profile source data; review source data and compare content and structure to dataset requirements; identify conflicts and determine recommendations for resolution
• Conduct entity resolution to identify matching and merging and semantic conflicts
• Conduct data attribute mapping back to the data source
• Elicit, record, and manage metadata
• Diagram current processes and proposed modifications using process flows, context diagrams and data flow diagrams
• Discover and document requirements and user stories with a focus on improving both business and technical processing
• Decompose requirements into Epics and Features and create clear and concise user stories that are easy to understand and implement by technical staff
• Utilize progressive elaboration; map stories to data models and architectures to be used by internal staff to facilitate master data management
• Identify and group related user stories into themes, document dependencies and associated business processes
• Assist Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog
• Create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
• Collaborate with staff, vendors, consultants, and contractors as they are engaged on tasks to formulate, detail and test potential and implemented solutions
• Coordinate and Facilitate User Acceptance Testing with Business and ensure Project Managers/Scrum Masters are informed of the progress

Required:
• The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience delivering business data analysis artifacts
• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst; strong understanding of Scrum concepts and methodology
• 5+ year of experience writing complex queries to analyze data
• Experience translating client and product strategy requirements into dataset requirements and user stories
• Proficient with defining acceptance criteria and managing acceptance process
• Experience with enterprise data management
• Expertise with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server)
• The candidate must have exceptional written and oral communications skills and have the proven ability to work well with a diverse set of peers and customers

Preferred:

• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
• Experience using Team Foundation Server and work item tracking
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Test Complete
