Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Houston,TX
Duration: 6+ Months

Experience Required:
5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
Ability to lead requirements definition and design sessions through use of interviews, surveys, user workshops, product/prototype demo's, etc. Ability to drive solution design decisions by utilizing a solid understanding of the business problem combines with technical business intelligence expertise.
Proven experience completing deliverables such as use cases, data flow diagrams, data value maps, report specifications with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with business partners, project team members and senior management.
Demonstrated use of project management skills in either an Agile methodology to drive projects from requirements to on-time, on-budget delivery.
Ability to write SQL queries to use in requirements analysis and data validation testing.
Proven track record of managing and meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality services and project artifacts.
Ability to present information, analysis, ideas, and positions in a clear and convincing manner to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Ability to build working relationship within and between teams in order to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries.
Recognizing and mapping business benefits to business processes and user stories. Convert user stories to business requirements and acceptance test cases.
Design and lead execution of all testing activities as required for all testing cycles, including internal data validation, quality assurance testing, and user acceptance testing.
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and anticipate team needs along with ability to operate and promote an environment of teamwork.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Strong organization skills, ownership and accountability.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Experience Preferred:
Experience with requirements management, test management and defect management tools (i.e. Rally, Quality Center).
