Job Title:  Oracle DBA

Location: COLUMBUS, Ohio

Duration: 4 Months

Database Administrator, you will administer, maintain and utilize policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the databases. Implement data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Support production DBA in limited capacity in daily or emergency procedures to resolve issues. 

Required Qualifications/Experience: 

- Minimum 7 years of work experience as a Database Administrator on Oracle Database 

- Solid exposure to application development processes and expectations from Application DBA stand point 

- Solid scripting skills to lift and shift database from one platform to other 

- Solid skills in database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures 

- Solid skills in productivity factors and ability to understand impact of problem on overall database performance 

- Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes 

- Strong skills in maintenance tools and procedures 

- Solid skills with one or more programming language and design technique
