We are looking for a Java Software Engineer with Workbrain Time and Attendance experience
This position is in Los Angeles, CA
RATE: Open
Duration: 6 Month
Client: (Will let you know once we finalize on the candidate based on expertise) This is with our DIRECT Client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Production support and development of a Workbrain / Infor Workforce Management application
* Design, Build, Test and Deploy Workbrain Time and Attendance module solutions
* Developing customizations using Workbrain APIs
* Reporting Product/Core issues to Vendor/Client and coordinating for solution
* Applying fixes/patches/upgrades from Product vendor
* Interface with management, business analysts, project managers, and other developers, along with internal customers to understand requirements and develop according to business requirements
* Workbrain Time & Attendance Support of Java Application
SKILLS:
* 2 - 4 years of experience with Workbrain Time and Attendance
* 5+ years practical (hands*on) experience with J2EE applications development
* Workbrain Time & Attendance Java, JDBC, Oracle, Weblogic, UNIX, PL/SQL, Shell, Windows
* Strong architecture and design skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong understanding of patterns and best practices
* Strong ability to decompose a broad level business requirement into technical implementation
* Ability to mentor and guide development team members
* Strong organization skills with good interpersonal skills and a customer service oriented attitude
* Strong understanding of web development
* 2 - 4 Years HTML, and JavaScript, Web Services
* Work with a team to create project estimates based on business requirements
* Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Cognos
* Strong understanding of best practices around Application security
* Strong knowledge of web server and application server capabilities and configuration
* Desire to learn new skills and technologies
* Innovative thinking to solve challenging problems
* Results oriented with an ability to work in team and individual contributor work environments * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
