Job Description
Seeking a seasoned professional that has enterprise storage, backup/restore, replication and disaster recovery experience to assist with the final design and implementation of a NetApp V series solution.
Targeting an early 2nd quarter start to replace a current TSM backup solution first and then overall storage management environment.
This environment currently consists of HP-UX, Linux, Windows, VMware, Oracle and SQL on DAS, HP XP24000, HP EVA, HP 3PAR and EMC Centera.
There is a plan to deploy this solution as a centralized to manage all of the storage environment on an enterprise level within NetApp utilities. The targeted environment will have a storage capacity, initially, of 200TB to provide a stable and consistent replication, backup/restore, archive and capacity driven environment for all applications systems across a two data center operational environment.
The client has an assigned project manager and project team that will work with the selected resource as the technical lead for this activity.
Required Qualifications
Expertise in the architecture, implementation and deployment of V-Series Management and NetApp storage infrastructure for the following environments:
Exchange, VMware, Oracle, SQL integration; HP-UX, Linux, Windows, VMware platforms, HP XP managed by V-Series.
Please have core solutions architecture level experience as requested for this specification.
