Role: SAP Basis Administrator with BW and HANA experience

Location: Lake Forest, IL

Duration: 9-month contract

The consultant will be responsible for supporting BW (ABAP) and BW (JAVA) systems in netweaver 7.3, business objects 4.0 and SCM and Knowledge Transfer (e.g. documentation, training) of day to support to the clients Basis administrators

 

Requirements

1. Must have BW (both ABAP and JAVA) experience (covering both ETL and Queries) and Business objects 4.0

Hands on Experience in HANA on BW with at least one HANA project implementation

2. BW 7.3 ,SCM, TDMS and SAP EWM

3. Must have worked hands-on in Basis administrator role in BW ABAP ,JAVA and Business objects (in windows) project in a Unix/Oracle environment preferably a large environment using x86 servers (DB - Solaris , App servers - Linux)

4. Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) for Netweaver

4. Must have BW accelerator and Oracle database administration experience

5. At least Five years of SAP Netweaver administration experience in SAP ABAP and J2EE systems

6. Ability to troubleshoot BW source system extraction issue in BW systems , particularly in source systems such as ECC, CRM, SCM, SRM and EWM

7. 24X7 support and on call responsibilities including pager/cell rotation

8. Understand and use Unix, Linux, Solaris and Windows-based scripting and programming languages (J2EE, ABAP, VB, .net and Java, etc.) in support tasks including problem solving and troubleshooting skills in projects

 

Other Requirements

1. Strong communication skills, ability to interact with SAP support and articulate the support issues

2. Worked with multiple cross functional team such as Basis , Database, Unix , Storage and Networking teams
