Position               :               Java Developer

Location               :               Glendale, CA

Duration              :               2+ Months
Face-To-Face Required !!

 

Requirements :

 

Responsibilities :

 

·         Code standard J2EE applications

·         Utilize standard development methodology and nomenclature

·         Participate in full lifecycle application development

·         Understand and review functional requirements and technical specs

·         Unit test and ensure code is written to specifications

·         Fix problems reported by the QA team

 

Qualifications :

 

Qualified Candidates will meet or exceed the following requirements:

• 5+ years Java/J2EE experience with at least 2 years of experience with large scale and complex systems
• Broad background in web application architectures
• Experience with multi-tiered architectures, including UI design, business rules layer, and basic data architecture
• Strong understanding of database (SQL), authentication, security and other infrastructure technologies and ability to leverage them for successful system implementation
• Excellent communication skills - written and oral
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
• Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
• Good project/time management skills
• Provide good estimates, and realistic implementation schedules for tasks, projects and initiatives
• Capable of leading technical analysis, database and program design activities for web application projects
• Ability to identify risks throughout the project and providing mitigation strategy
• Ability to identify risks throughout the project and providing mitigation strategy
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working in agile teams (e.g., Scrum, XP) a plus

 

Tools – Demonstrated proficiency in the below will be highly regarded:

• Develop and maintain J2EE Applications
• Database – Oracle, IBM DB2, Sybase
• Web Application Server – Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere
• Web Servers – Apache, IIS
• Web Browsers – Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome
