Position : ETL Data Stage Developer

Location : Downtown Chicago

Duration : 12 months

 

Responsibilities:

 

Build and Maintain ETL processes working closely with System & Data Warehouse Architects, data modelers, data analysts, business analysts and BI developers to understand requirements using the IBM Information Server toolkit and ETL best practices

 

Develop ETL processes in support of the requirements, validate that they meet business and technical specifications

 

Perform Quality Assurance, unit and system testing as well as complete documentation of deliverables.

 

Responsible for support of all development and production data integration points for applications.

 

Insure data quality through creation of proactive monitoring and data cleansing techniques.

 

Scope, plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects.

 

Research, evaluate, identify alternative approaches, recommend, design and code efficient and effective solutions for challenging integration problems ranging from small to large work efforts for low to high complexity.

 

Demonstrate collaborative skills working within a project team of diverse skills and will bring communication skills including oral, written and presentation skills, creativity, and problem solving skills to a challenging environment

 

Data Stage 8.5 experience
