Location: Germantown, MD

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Description:  

•        Setting up various windows & Linux jump boxes.

•        Installing RHEL 6.4 using kickstart server

•        Work with the storage, backup, Application and Windows team to set up the infrastructure

•        Security hardening and user permissions to the groups defined in AD

•        Setting up supporting infrastructure

•        Running through Linux server build checklists against all systems to validate their various systems are configured properly (Central Auth, NTP, SYSLOG, Timezone,

•        Running through windows server build checklists, similar to above linux requirements.

•        Takes direction for Senior SA in what to build, what processes to follow, what scripts to run etc.

•        Helps install all of the supporting infrastructure services, WSUS, HPSIM, configure SNMP, SYSLOG, etc.

•        Work towards automation of various activities thru scripting
