Position Title: Data Warehouse Architect
Start Date: ASAP
Estimated Duration: 11 months with possible extension
Type: Temporary Project
Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Description: Our Client, a government institution, is looking for an Architect that develops a dashboard for the Superstorm Sandy recovery project and assist the Governor's Office of Recovery and Rebuilding and identifying the appropriate sources for data input into the internal dashboard.
Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for solution design to meet the objectives of the project and overseeing the implementation of that design;
• To work on the effectiveness of the design and the communication of it to the project team;
• Design the solution consistent with the New Jersey Enterprise Information Management Framework and the New Jersey Shared IT Architecture;
• Assist The Project Manager and Business Analyst with requirements gathering and analysis;
• Assist the Business Analyst with creation of detailed data flow diagrams;
• Assist the Data Architect with creation of the logical and physical data models;
• Assist developers with construction of the solution and resolution of technical problems;
• Assist the Quality Assurance Specialist with development and execution of test plans.

 
Requirements:

• Experience with data integration and/or data warehousing technologies and methodologies (7+);
• Experience working with large heterogeneous enterprise environments (5+);
• Experience as a data warehousing project manager, team leader, or architect (3+);
• Experience on projects within large heterogeneous enterprise environments (1+);
• Experience with database technology, Oracle;
• Experience of ETL technology;
• Experience of data normalization and logical data modeling;
• Experience with MS Office productivity tools.
