Title: Automation QA Lead/Architect (Selenium exp.)

Location: Wilmington, MA

Duration: 6+ months

Phone & in-person/ Skype for non local

 

Must be very strong automation engineer with heavy Selenium exp. and basic Java exp.

 

Job Summary:

Here is an opportunity to architect and develop the company's test automation framework! We are at the very beginning of the evolution our well-established product line using a new set of technologies and want to develop the automation architecture concurrently.

 

Job Functions:

Utilize experience in developing test frameworks and writing test cases with web and mobile application automation tools to develop a new, highly maintainable automation test framework

Develop robust, reusable functional and regression tests

Train and collaborate test automation development and efforts to other QA team members

Contribute to the implementation of automation principles, define best practices, and lead the adoption of technologies and tools that drive efficiencies throughout the team

Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing

Work directly with the engineering team to resolve issues and to advance quality processes

Analyze failed tests, proactively identify defects/issues and effectively communicate verbally and/or in writing with agile team members

 

Requirements:

5+ years of relevant QA technical experience

Proven record in driving quality assurance at a fast-paced growth company

Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills

Experience with developing an automation framework

Experience working with Virtual Test environments

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills

BS or BA degree preferred in computer science, or electrical engineering
