Lead/Senior developer Java, RCP Developer Needed

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6+ months

 

Technical Skills

 

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering. Masters is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience on relevant technologies

o   Recent Experience developing applications using the Eclipse RCP framework

o   Experience with Eclipse graphical frameworks: SWT, OSGi and JFace 

o   Experience with Java SWING migration to SWT useful

o   Systems concepts, including multithreading, remote procedure calls, compilation/translation, including parsing, optimization, and code generation. 

o   Client-side dynamic web technology (AJAX), including JavaScript, DHTML and DOM. 

o   Experience with databases like Oracle. SQL script writing skills.

o  

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

o   Understand Software Requirements Specifications

o   Product development (defect fixing, enhancement and new development) and testing.

o   Should able to design UI using SWT and build plugins using eclipse RCP

o   Should understand the complex design aspects of Java (like various design patterns, application architecture design techniques etc.) and interact with customer on highly complex technical issues independently.
