Position:  Mobile Applications Developer

Location:  Washington DC

Duration: 6 months

 

o   Mobile applications for Android, iPAD and Windows mobile devices.

o   Requirements, design and standards documentation.

o   Test plans and results.

 

 

Specific Position Requirements

 

·                 Develop mobile applications in various technologies (see experience required).

·                 Provide technical expertise in mobile application development to technical team.

·                 Collect mobile app requirements and demonstrate developed mobile apps.

·                 Review and contribute to mobile app standards.

·                 Provide full user support for agency’s standard application software in order to meet user/agency needs.

·                 Conduct training in order to develop agency personnel skills in the operations and capabilities of applications and systems.

·                 Implement system security measures such as access control and system accounting in order to maintain system integrity and availability.

 

 

Experience Required:

 

 

o   Minimum of 4 to 7 years experience developing mobile apps.

o   Languages: XTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Java, (Objective-C for iOS is a plus).

o   Frameworks: Oracle ADF, Java Android SDK, Windows Mobile, Eclipse, Xcode, (GIS ESRI Android Mobile SDK and Cordova Apache ASF /MDF are a plus).

o   Highly recommended that developer has developed and can demo mobile apps that he/she has developed on either on Google Play (Android) or iTunes (iOS).
