Capgemini is seeking #Scala developers for a project with one of the leading Public Cloud providers.
Seeking candidates with strong hands-on expertise in Scala APIs, data pipelines, Spark/ Hadoop, Spark Scala API / PySpark API, Spark SQL, Java/Python and related.
Candidates can be located anywhere but need to be able to work US West Coast time zone.c
The following are the key screening questions. Please send candidates with answers to these questions:
1. Did the candidate use Scala based API to write data pipelines? If yes, which distributed processing framework is used to execute these pipelines?
2. If a candidate has Spark experience, did you use Spark Scala API/ PySpark API?
3. If a candidate has used Spark Scala API, is the transformation logic written using scala based functions / Spark SQL?
4. If a candidate has dataflow experience, which language (Java/Python) did they use to develop pipelines?
