Python Full Stack/ ML Ops Engineer (Staff/ Senior level)
Englewood Cliffs, NJ (100% Remote)
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Design responsive application Python, Flask and Angular 8 & above with an understanding of various UI architectures. And Building interactive consumer data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through Python API based data consumption backend
· Industrialize ML models by building ML Ops pipelines in Azure
· Guide team to develop web control libraries for reusability and faster development
· Co-ordinate with peer architects, system engineers, and other relevant stakeholders in the project development process
· Participate in architectural meetings with the client-side architect and translate their needs into technical specifications with help of technical leads
· Implementing architectural best practices across projects, define infrastructure, design deployment architecture.
· Understand client requirements, drive discussions, design solutions and effectively present them to the client Understand the industry trend and help customer and CitiusTech to build knowledge capabilities of engineers for upcoming needs.
· Building interactive consumer data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Python based backend
· Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
Technical Skills Required:
· In depth knowledge of Python, Flask, Angular
· Hands on Experience building ML Ops in Azure
· Hands on Experience
a. Implementing applications using Angular, Python
b. Designing/ building Data consumption web applications
c. Creating front end applications using HTML5, Angular, LESS / SASS, CSS
d. JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
e. Modern frameworks and design patterns
g. Creating secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, JavaScript, jQuery
h. Providing scalable solutions using Devops
i. Continuous integration tools (Jenkins / Hudson)
j. Various Version Control Systems (SVN, Git, GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket etc)
k. Tools like JIRA,RALLY etc
l. Agile Methodologies
m. ORM frameworks (hibernate/jpa)
· Good knowledge in
a. Developing secure webpages
b. Integrating the security features into the web application
c. SQL and NoSQL
d. OOPS and SOLID principles, Design pattern
e. Micro services architecture environment, RESTFUL architectures, JSON exchange formats
· Consumer Web Development Experience for High-Traffic, Public Facing web applications
· Ability to devise solutions around cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility, and design constraint
· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Cassandra DBA
Ann Arbor, MI/Detroit, MI
12 Months Contract
The Senior Database Engineer is responsible for the enterprise-wide administration of the Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL,PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Elastic Search and AWS Aurora database infrastructure. Responsibilities include database administration, architectural design, development, integration, and support. Guidance to less experienced DBAs and developers for ongoing process improvement is also emphasized. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines is necessary.
· Design, develop, and manage data on various SQL and NoSQL databases
· End-to-end performance tuning of SQL and NoSQL against very large data sets
· Database cluster connectivity and security
· Conduct database training
· Software installation and configuration
· Database patching and upgrading
· Using monitoring and management tools
· Troubleshoot various issues with other dba's/developers
· Point of Contact for Vendor escalation
· Point of Contact for professional service to Customers
· Cross platform migration from Oracle to MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL
· Support the creation, maintenance and implementation of procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed and corrected
· Ensures project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately
· Manages day-to-day project and scope changes
· Communicate and coordinate database changes, backups, and downtime to users
· Identifies potential security issues and recommend strategies to ensure database security
· Research and evaluate new technologies
· Proactively monitor systems for optimum performance and capacity constraints
· Establish standards and best practices
· Interact with and coach developers in database development
· Perform database backup and recovery
· Provides 24x7 support for enterprise database systems
Required Skills:
· Bachelor's degree related to comput2er science
· 8+ years hands-on DBA experience with MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL, Cassandra and supporting tools
· Strong experience with Linux is required, including command line editors, scripting (shell, Python, Perl, etc.)
· Experience in database performance tuning and strong tuning skills
· Experience in database and cross platform upgrades required.
· Experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and production support
It would be great if you had:
· Java,HBase, etc
· Exposure to Data Virtualization Solutions, AWS, containers, Kubernetes
· Application Development experience preferred
· Experience with automation, mass deployment technologies and related topics
