Requirement Details

 

Senior System Admin

Location : San Jose, CA ( Hybrid Model )

6 months

 

Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years experience working in a highly virtualized environment using vmware and server OS administration in either Redhat or Microsoft

Minimum 3 years experience working with Hpe Server hardware, including DL series servers and blade technologies

Thorough understanding of L1 Network / Storage connectivity and must be able to rack equipmentin standard 42U racks

Bachelor's degree I computer science engineering, social science, education, business, healthcare or related field and minimum  years working in IT or operations.

Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

 

Preferred Qualifications :

3 years of experience writing documentation or standard operating procedures related to system administration

2 years of experience managing NAS infrastructure , NFS and SMB/CIFS ( NetApp or equivalent )

2 years of experience in Palo Alto Firewall Installation and Management

2 years of experience in Citrix XenApp installation and Management

2 years of experience in Veeam or other back up solutions integrated installation and management

1 year experience troubleshooting networks using packet captures

1 year experience assessing vulnerabilities and determining when to mitigate

1 year experience working on Docker Containers and or Kubernetes orchestration
