Job Title: Cloud Security Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of public cloud infrastructures, particularly AWS, with a strong understanding of GCP and Kubernetes. This role involves ensuring the secure configuration and operation of cloud-based environments, focusing on network security, IAM, and data security. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and experience with Terraform are crucial. Previous experience with Wiz will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes platforms.
- Understand and apply best practices for network security, including the configuration of VPCs and security groups.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and resource policies to ensure secure access and operation within cloud environments.
- Ensure data security through proper access control mechanisms for storage solutions like S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and implement encryption methods to protect sensitive data.
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for efficient and secure cloud environment management, with a particular emphasis on Terraform.
- Analyze and employ SSH bastion hosts effectively for secure remote access.
- Stay current with the latest cloud security threats and countermeasures to protect organizational assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate and secure cloud-native and third-party applications within the cloud ecosystem.
- Participate in the evaluation and integration of Wiz enhanced security and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cloud security roles with a strong emphasis on AWS, and familiarity with GCP and Kubernetes.
- In-depth understanding of network security concepts, IAM practices, and data security strategies in cloud environments.
- Practical experience with Terraform and other IaC tools for cloud infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of SSH bastion hosts and their application in secure cloud architectures.
- Previous exposure to Wiz is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
- Relevant certifications in cloud security (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist) are preferred.

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Software Engineer to join our forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will have a high-level familiarity with public cloud fundamentals, including understanding stateful resource configuration via public APIs and the various categories of cloud resource types (compute, storage, etc.). This role requires hands-on experience in writing software that interacts with AWS or GCP APIs for automation or stateful data collection purposes. Additionally, expertise in writing, configuring, or integrating linters into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software solutions that leverage public cloud APIs (AWS, GCP) to automate cloud resource management and data collection.
- Understand and apply best practices for managing compute, storage, and other cloud resource types securely and efficiently.
- Design and integrate tools and processes that improve the security posture of cloud-based environments through automation.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate linters and other code quality tools into the SDLC, ensuring adherence to best coding practices and security guidelines.
- Work closely with cloud architects and security teams to identify and mitigate security risks in the cloud environment.
- Contribute to the development of cloud security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and security threats to continuously improve our security stance and development practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software development with a focus on cloud security and automation.
- High-level understanding of public cloud basics, including stateful resource management and the categorization of cloud resources.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP APIs for developing automation tools or collecting stateful data.
- Demonstrated ability in writing, configuring, or integrating linters into the SDLC to enhance code quality and security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications in cloud computing or security (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Google Professional Cloud Developer) are preferred.
