Location: - Frisco, TX  – Day 1 ONSITE

Rate : $50-55/hr

 

 

Project/Initiative

Varonis SaaS Rollout, Data Security Operationalization, and Remediation Programs.

Work Required

• Lead engineering support for the Varonis SaaS rollout across enterprise environments.
• Configure, tune, and optimize Varonis policies to enforce least-privilege access and mitigate data exposure risks.
• Drive data remediation efforts, including cleanup of excessive permissions, stale/unused accounts, and sensitive data handling.
• Operationalize Varonis by integrating with enterprise security workflows, alerts, and compliance reporting.
• Support the existing legacy on-prem Varonis environment, ensuring stability and ongoing functionality.
• Assist with Data Privilege requests and tickets, handling user access workflows and approvals.
• Work with the vendor on support cases, escalating issues and ensuring timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot SaaS connectivity, data ingestion, and policy enforcement issues.
• Develop dashboards and generate reports on user activity, anomalies, and overall risk posture.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with enterprise governance and standards.

Overview

The Varonis Cybersecurity Engineer will play a critical role in deploying and operationalizing Varonis SaaS data security solutions, while also providing ongoing support for the legacy on-prem environment. The contractor will focus on strengthening enterprise visibility into sensitive data, enforcing security policies, and driving remediation to reduce insider and external threats. In addition to SaaS rollout and policy engineering, the engineer will manage Data Privilege requests and tickets, coordinate with the vendor on support cases, and ensure both SaaS and on-prem environments are aligned with enterprise security objectives. This role requires strong expertise in Varonis SaaS and on-prem, policy management, troubleshooting, and enterprise data protection best practices.
