Role: Business Analyst with Guidewire Claims
Location - NY/ New Jersey-locals preferred
(Remote allowed but candidate need to travel to client location on need basis)
Lead Consultant with guidewire - policycenter,guidewire – claimcenterCertifications: Guidewire certification in PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter will be a plus.
NOTE: Ideally we are looking for a strong BA with a good amount P&C personal lines Claims experience that can get up and running pretty fast, work at a fast pace (produce roughly a min of 5 stories per week of various sizes), on some large complex projects as the only BA for that team . Ideally experience with Homeowners and/or personal Auto (our two biggest lines) would be our preference. Hope this helps provide further clarity on what we are looking for.
Skill Requirements
- Someone who can drive sessions with the business users to obtain their business requirements of HL requests.
- Work with the business SMEs (of various levels including executives) to look at problems and determine business requirements for the system solutions
- Someone that knows how the business uses a claim system and handle claims.
- They do not need to have technical knowledge of GW (don't need to be able to configure / code in GW). But experience with running / obtaining the business requirements for projects adding new functionality to GW or new integrations would be a big plus.
- Can write business user stories and work with the technical (Dev and QA) to determine solutions and final requirements for the User Story and functionality requested.
- Has worked on UAT (writing scripts, helping facilitate the UAT session, assess and try to recreate defect and explain them to the team, etc.)
- Someone that can largely work on their own to drive the requirements from start of gathering them through working go live and warranty (working with the dev team and qa team for implementation and testing, can demo to the business, work with our Ops team on scenarios for UAT, create UAT scripts, facilitate UAT, support the training team, and support release and warranty of the item)
Job Summary
The Lead Consultant for guidewire policy center and guidewire claim center will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Guidewire software solutions for policy center and claim center. The main objective is to ensure efficient utilization of Guidewire systems to meet business requirements and enhance overall operational effectiveness. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the implementation of guidewire policy center and claim center solutions.
2. Gather and analyze business requirements to design and develop guidewire software configurations.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful integration and deployment of guidewire applications.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team throughout the software development lifecycle.
5. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of guidewire systems to ensure optimal performance.
6. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in guidewire software solutions.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong expertise in guidewire policy center and guidewire claim center configuration and customization.
2. Proficiency in guidewire data model, rules, and integration technologies.
3. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within guidewire platform.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.
Certifications: Guidewire certification in PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter will be a plus.
