Max Rate: $50-55/hr all-inclusive

Residency Requirement: Candidate must currently reside in North Carolina.

Job Description

We are seeking an Expert-Level Specialist to support enterprise testing initiatives for a large IT organization in North Carolina. The selected professional will be responsible for testing new releases and upgrades across diverse business applications, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards before deployment.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze project requirements for clarity, completeness, and testability

Develop system test plans and detailed test cases

Execute manual test cases, record results, and document outcomes

Manage defect identification, tracking, and resolution

Produce test documentation including test plans, results, metrics, and defect reports

Prepare and submit weekly testing status updates to management

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to maintain consistent quality coverage

Required Qualifications

Minimum 8 years' experience testing complex business applications across multiple technologies (API, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, .NET, etc.)

Proven experience designing and executing test plans and cases based on project requirements

Strong documentation and traceability skills between requirements, test cases, and defects

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Copilot)

Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tool Suite (qTest, Tosca, NeoLoad), Postman, and SoapUI

Deep understanding of Agile testing methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of experience testing transportation or DMV-related applications

Exposure to AI-driven features within qTest or Tosca (6+ months preferred)
