Job Description

 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive QE Lead to drive Quality Engineering initiatives for enterprise applications The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation using Selenium or Playwright experience leading testing efforts across distributed teams and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients business stakeholders and offshore teams

 

The QE Lead will be responsible for defining test strategies overseeing test execution ensuring highquality deliverables and providing leadership across functional and automation testing activities

 

Preferred Skills

 

2 years of Guidewire PolicyCenter testing experience

Experience in Insurance domain projects

Exposure to API testing and automation using tools such as Postman Rest Assured Playwright API or equivalent

Knowledge of CICD tools such as Azure DevOps Jenkins GitHub Actions or GitLab

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Own and drive endtoend QA activities for assigned projects

Define and implement comprehensive Test Strategy Test Plans and QA processes

Prepare and review test scenarios test cases and test data requirements

Ensure test coverage across functional integration regression and endtoend testing

Monitor test execution defect management and overall quality metrics

Provide timely status reports risk assessments and mitigation plans

 

Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium or Playwright API Automation is added advantage

Integrate automation suites with CICD pipelines and reporting tools

 

Coordinate closely with client teams business stakeholders product owners and development teams

Participate in requirement discussions sprint planning and release planning activities

 

Lead and coordinate activities of offshore QA teams

 

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and automation

 

Required Skills

 

6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation

Strong handson experience with Selenium WebDriver andor Playwright

Experience designing and executing automation frameworks

Strong understanding of SDLC STLC AgileScrum methodologies

Experience in test planning estimation defect management and reporting

Experience with test management tools such as JIRA XRay

Experience in Insurance Guidewire policy center

Proven experience coordinating with onsite clients and offshore delivery teams

Strong analytical troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
