Title: Sr. Fullstack Engineer
Location: Washington, DC / Rockville, MD / McLean, VA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite with 2 days remote)
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and build scalable enterprise applications in a modern Agile and CI/CD environment. This role will focus on Node.js and Angular development while leveraging AWS cloud and serverless technologies. Candidates with a strong Java foundation who have expanded into Node.js or Python are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Node.js, Angular, and TypeScript.
Build scalable REST APIs and backend services using Node.js, NestJS, or Express.js.
Develop modern Angular applications using Angular 12+, RxJS, and TypeScript.
Build and integrate AWS cloud solutions using Lambda, EC2, S3, Fargate, API Gateway, SQS, and other services.
Develop event-driven and serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical design discussions, code reviews, and sprint delivery.
Develop automated tests using Jest, Mocha, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Troubleshoot complex application issues and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Mentor junior developers and promote software engineering best practices.
Qualifications
7+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of production-level Node.js development experience.
3+ years of Angular experience, preferably Angular 12+.
Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, object-oriented programming, and REST API development skills.
Hands-on AWS experience, particularly with Lambda and serverless architectures.
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Previous Java/JVM development experience is a plus.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar platforms is a plus.
