Work Arrangement: 3–4 days per week in office

Position Overview
The Business Process Analyst (BPA) will support the Client in analyzing, documenting, and improving agency-wide business processes.
The BPA will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and program teams to understand current-state processes, identify inefficiencies and root causes, and design practical future-state improvements. The role will apply Business Process Analysis, Lean Six Sigma, and Quality Improvement methodologies to streamline workflows, improve operational effectiveness, standardize processes, and support sustainable organizational transformation.
The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis and process improvement experience, excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills, and the ability to translate complex business processes into clear, actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications
- 3–10+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a closely related business analysis role.
- Professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Business analysis
- Business process improvement
- Project management
- Performance management
- Organizational transformation
- Related disciplines
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, process analysis, and workflow assessment.
- Experience developing current-state and future-state process maps.
- Experience creating SOPs, business requirements, reports, executive summaries, and process documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, SMEs, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience working in state government, public health, healthcare, finance, regulatory, or similar service-oriented environments.
- Experience supporting strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, or enterprise-level improvement programs.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma and Quality Improvement methodologies.
- Experience with change management and organizational adoption.
- Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, and implementation documentation.
- Professional certifications or training in:
- Lean Six Sigma
- Project Management
- Change Management
- Business Analysis
- Process Improvement
- Related disciplines
Master’s degree in MBA, MHA, or a related field is preferred.
