Our direct client, a leading investment bank is seeking a senior developer whose expertise is in Java/J2EE based applications primarily in the Fixed Income space.

The qualified applicant should possess experience with producing and supporting trading applications.

Requirements:

The role is for a senior developer in the Fixed Income Middle Office team within Operations IT. The position requires a self-starter, dedicated to a high level of customer service, who can operate independently in a dynamic environment. As a senior developer, the applicant will engage in all aspects of the software life-cycle and will interact with users in a fast-paced iterative development cycle.

Position Comments

Engage in all aspects of the software life-cycle for Middle Office projects:

• Work closely with business users to gather clear requirements • Collaborate to design and architect solutions with the team • Build solutions using best-practice development standards and tools • Collaborate to build and execute test plans • Assist support teams and engage in Level 3 support

MUST HAVE

Experience using J2EE, Java, JDBC, Perl, SQL and Middleware ***Excellent verbal and written communication skills*** Computer Science degree or equivalent Experience building and supporting time-critical applications Familiarity with UNIX development environment

Additional Skills

Supplemental skills:

Experience with Junit or similar tools

Experience with Hibernate, Spring and Jboss Application Server Experience with Middle Office Trade life-cycle Experience with JMS and Tibco

Interview Process: One Phone, then F2F, (Skype is possible)!

Title: SAP BW ETL Consultant

Location: Omaha, NE

Duration: Long Term

JOB Responsibilities

· The SAP BW ETL Lead will provide technology leadership to the SAP support of SAP's Business Warehouse.

· This person will interact with the company's process teams in identifying and documenting necessary KPI and reporting requirements.

· The SAP Business Warehouse Lead will be responsible for troubleshooting the BW/ETL system and implementing corrective actions. The Architect will lead the overall design and provide technical recommendation to the Business Warehouse development team in establishing corresponding data models, usage of front-end reporting tools, ETL tools, and technical infrastructure.

· Ensure overall system performance of BW are inline with benchmark standards

· This person will have responsible of the successful operation of the load process to ensure the overall performance of the system. The incumbent will do capacity planning and performance management for the BW system. Responsible for managing the production data loads and production support schedule

· Design, configure, implement and support SAP's Business Warehouse solutions, which include the complex extraction, transformation and loading operational setups, create and maintain ODS's and Infocube, establish and monitor process chains.

· Monitor and review BW technical design to ensure they are inline and support our current BI Strategies

· Manage all technical development for BW system which includes the Staging Area and Data Extraction Services.

· Monitor and review project objectives, scope, and technical design to ensure they are inline with current BI Strategies

· Review and approve development to be promoted

· The ability to utilizing SAP development tools, such as ABAP and ABAP Objects

Technical / Functional Skills

· Understanding of core data warehouse concepts and excellent experience in data modeling

· Experience architecting Global BW solution from multiple SAP R/3 system with varying designs into a common BW reporting template

· Detailed in-depth technical BW knowledge coupled with solid all round hands-on experience including data extraction and report generation aspects of delivering business solutions in BW.

· SAP development experience utilizing ABAP and ABAP Objects.

· A broad understanding of at least two of the main Financial (FI & CO) and Logistics modules (SD & MM) in core R/3 preferred.

· Knowledge and experience in performance tuning related to a SAP BW solution

· Ability to manage a small team while leading SAP BW ETL Support

· Experience with Business Objects Platform is a plus (Crystal, Webi, Analysis for Office, Explorer, Mobile)

· Experience with SAP BWA
