PWI - Finance & Operations Technology team is looking for a Software Engineer/Developer for development, maintenance and support Business Line applications. BLA team, with multisite presence, provides ongoing maintenance and support to over 30 applications on various platforms and technologies and is engaged in all major IT development projects within F & O organizations with high concentration on Informatica and Oracle

We are looking a software developer with Informatica and Oracle database development skills with ability to work on multiple / concurrent ETL and database development / maintenance projects. The qualified candidate will be required to work closely with offsite development and support teams. S/He should be able to take initiatives, think proactively and implement solutions to stabilize our applications and environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

ETL development with Informatica 8.6 and Oracle 10 and higher.
Database development on Oracle / Sybase / Sql server.
Unit testing with test cases for the developed code.
Peer testing, code review and Impact analysis of the modules developed by the other team members.
Collaborate with peers and superiors on process improvement ideas, policy and procedure enhancements, and opportunities to improve our customer's service experience
Application Maintenance and support as required.

Education and Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in software development including experience with Oracle and Informatica
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Skills and Knowledge

Should possess strong hands-on development skills in Informatica and Oracle.
Should have good understanding of RDBMS principles and hands on any of the databases Oracle, Sybase and Sql server in development of procs/packages/triggers and table design.
Should have the ability to test and debug advanced code
Should be able to independently code advanced programs
Provide subject matter expertise to business
Must be adaptable in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings.
Strong time management and planning skills required.
Excellent writing, editing, communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to set goals, develop measures and achieve results.
Creative, energetic, assertive hands-on professional who enjoys the challenge of change.
High level of commitment, initiative, vision and enthusiasm
Pervious experience with technologies like ASP and VB is a plus

Job Description:

Technical team member to implement and support database activity monitoring using IBM Guardium. Will also support monitoring using legacy Netezza Mantra.

Implement database activity monitoring using IBM Guardium on mission critical databases. Will also support Netezza Mantra monitoring solution until it is phased out in early 2013.

Work with the Technology Monitoring project team, application owners, database administrators, system engineers, and network engineers to design, configure, implement, and support database monitoring solutions.

Perform duties as assigned, which may include, but are not limited to, capacity planning, hardware and software configuration and installation, upgrading, monitoring, tuning, responding to trouble calls, data backup and recovery, automation of processes, and configuration of the security of Guardium implementation.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the technical lead to solve technical problems. After decisions have been made, the technician will be expected to work independently to implement the solution.

Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.

This position requires at least five years of IT experience and a Bachelor's degree in the computer field.

Job Description:

This position maintains corporate data network security infrastructure and provides information security based on the enforcement of our company security policies. The primary responsibility is the administration of access control for SAP Systems, as well as provide security support for corporate projects. This position will also be performing audit functions in all systems for annual audit reviews.
