Role:   Oracle Forms Reports PL SQL Developer - - - # 226

Location:  Schenectady, NY

Duration: - - 24 Months

 

Job Description:

 

• Consultants are needed to augment state staff with the continuing support and maintenance of several Oracle Forms applications.
• Consultant will be required to complete required software maintenance and enhancements and assist with bringing the software to supported platforms and versions.

 

Mandatory Requirement:

 

·         analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team

·         maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work

·         write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions.

 

Candidates should have at least 60 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:

 

• Hands-on programming experience developing forms using Oracle 6i Web Forms or higher, including at least one year of hands-on programming experience using Oracle Forms 9i.
• Hands-on programming experience developing reports using Oracle 6i Web Reports or higher, including at least one year of hands-on programming experience using Oracle Reports 9i
• Hands-on programming experience using PL/SQL for writing triggers and procedures.
• Hands-on programming experience working in a Unix environment developing Korn shell scripts.
• Hands-on programming experience working in a VMS environment developing DCL scripts.
• Hands-on programming experience creating and modifying relational database structures for Oracle RDBMS version 8.0 or higher.
• Hands-on programming experience writing COBOL programs with embedded SQL and/or PL/SQL.
