Position               : Firmware Test Engineer

Location               : San Jose CA

Duration              : 6 Months +

 

Description:

 

• 5+ years experience in high tech industry related to memory storage products and Knowledge of NAND technology

• Knowledge of SSD drive development and testing

• Experience in FW test/validation and/or FW development

• Knowledge of FW development processes and tools (VCS, Bug Tracking, etc.)

• Understanding of hardware systems, and computer architecture

• Software development experience in Python, C, C++

• Understanding of programming tools including compilers, linkers, and debuggers

• Experience with SVN

• Experience with various automated testing frameworks - Jenkins

• Linux kernel and user space development/testing experience

• Knowledge of Kernel debugging infrastructure and techniques

• Strong debugging skills to root cause with hardware, firmware, and software

• Ability to visualize and develop innovative solutions to detected problems and issues
