Project Overview:

Senior Websphere MQ Administrator experienced with large scale Message Query  installations on distributed platforms such as Unix AIX and variations

of Linux.

 

Required Skills:

4+ years of enterprise level MQ administration experience

• Installation, upgrades and configuration experience

• Designing of complex MQ applications

• Capacity planning and performance tuning

• MQ clustering

• Trouble shooting within complex MQ environments

• MQ Monitor

• Working knowledge of MQ APIs and JMS. Ability to work with application areas developing/troubleshooting MQ processes

• Working knowledge of Message Driven Beans

• Unix scripting

• On call support

Desired Skills:

• WebSphere MQ Message Broker experience

• WebSphere MQ security

• C and/or Java application development skills (Java preferred)

• Working knowledge of pub/sub model

• Solid communication skills

Education:
