Required Skills:

 

1.     Must pass background check prior to start 

2.     Strong development (SDE or SDE/T) background on large projects on collaborative teams

3.     Development experience; 3+ years software development experience in Microsoft Visual Studio

4.     Strong theory/algorithm background and very good understanding on how to apply advanced knowledge to solve real problems.

5.     Ability to work independently and within a team to research and validate innovative solutions to challenging business/technical problems

6.     Knowledge and experience in Automation and Performance testing frameworks

7.     Experience in functional and performance automation with Visual Studio test tools

8.     Extensive software Test design and development skills experience using Coded UI tests, Web Performance tests, etc.

9.     Experience in using Team Foundation Server (TFS) and solution development lifecycles (SDLC) and workflows

10.  Testing Mainframe applications

11.  Experience using and integrating Fiddler test scenarios into Visual Studio

12.  Understanding and knowledge of Testing web applications and network protocols

13.  Performance testing dealing with data mining

14.  Test environment management [IIS configuration and SQL administration]

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

1.     Writing automated test plans, test scripts and related documentation

2.     Design and develop both automated functional and performance test cases, running test scripts and analyzing results, gathering relevant performance counter data

3.     Reporting results, verifying fixes, providing feedback in the application design and specification process, along with using the Visual Studio tools to develop customer-empathetic test scenarios.

4.     Test environment troubleshooting and software testing

5.     Testing will be roughly 75% White box and 15% Black Box

6.     An estimated 10% of the Work will be spent in meetings, bug-triage, Software shipping and supporting services, etc.

 

Must Have:

 

1.     3+ years' development experience with Visual Studio 2010 or 2012 with emphasis on C#

2.     2+ years' Coded UI Tests

3.     2+ years' Web Performance Tests

4.     2+ years' experience developing automation and performance testing frameworks in .NET Framework

5.     2+ QA Methodologies (SDLC) software / defect lifecycles

6.     2+ years' knowledge and experience with SQL Server 2008

7.     Experience using TFS Source Control
