· Over 6 years IT experience with database development experience, Business Intelligence and have Software Development experience.

· Expertise in Extracting, Transformation and Loading (ETL) data using various tools including Bulk insert (BCP), Import/Export data, DTS packages and SQL server Integration.

· Excellent experience of managing BI environment, which includes Business model, Data Model, Data sources, ETL tools, target data warehouse, Data marts, OLAP analysis and Reporting tools.

· Experience in Data warehouse such as dimensional modeling, Star/Snowflake schemas, Data marts, fact and dimension tables identification and OLAP.

· Expert in writing T-SQL, working on DTS, SSIS, and Data Migration projects.

· Experience in Extraction & Migration of Data from heterogeneous data sources like Excel, MS Access, Oracle, DB2 to MS SQL Server by using Import Export Wizard, DTS SSIS, BCP & Bulk Insert utilities.

· Experience in Cube designing in Business Intelligence Development Studio (SSAS) to edit various properties of a cube, including the measure groups and measures, cube dimensions and dimension relationships, calculations.

· Expert in creating Cubes and Implementation of perspectives, partitions, aggregations, roles, DVS, calculated members, calculated measures.

· Experience in Developing and Extending SSAS Cubes, Dimensions and data source views SSAS-Data Mining Models and Deploying and Processing SSAS objects.

· Expert in calculating measures and dimension members using Multi-dimensional expression (MDX), mathematical formulas, and user-defined functions.

· Expert in Extraction, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data flows using SSIS; creating mappings/workflows to extract data from Oracle, SQL Server and Flat File sources, legacy systems and load into various Business Entities.

· Expert in Creating Indexes, Views, complex Triggers, effective Functions, and appropriate stored Procedures to facilitate efficient data manipulation and data consistency.

· Experience in creating jobs, Alerts, SQL Mail Agent, Database Mails and Scheduled DTS and SSIS Packages.

· Expert in database activities like database creation and maintenance, Performance Monitoring, Tuning and Troubleshooting, Disaster recovery, Backup/Restore and Migration.

· Experience in Data Modeling skills using MS VISIO and ERWIN.

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong analytical abilities, and can perform well both independently and as a team player.

· Languages: Java, VBA.

· Databases: MS-Access, MS SQL Server 2008/2005/2000.
