Primary Responsibilities Include: 

·         Utilizing Testing Methodologies analyzes testing requirements as the basis for developing testing scenarios for a test level to be executed on a project.

·         Designs testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications.

·         Executes tasks related to the production of the Test Plan, test cases, test scripts, and test data.

·         Understands and uses appropriate automated testing processes and tools.

·         Escalate quality issues for resolution, and validate testing environment.

·         Supports knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, and improving testing collateral through lessons learned.

·         Accountable for own work.

 

Qualifications: 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

·         Min. 5+ years of experience with Black Box, Grey Box, White Box Testing, writing and executing Test cases, Test scripts

·         Strong QA fundamentals and experience in agile development process

·         Develop and validate test cases, test coverage, and scripts

·         Experience with MySQL and Basic Administration

·         Ability to code and script as needed (white-box)

·         Work experience on desktop and notebook QA testing preferred.

·         Understands and uses appropriate automated testing processes and tools

·         Programming experience in VBScript preferred

·         Work Experience with following OS: Win7, Win8, and all latest browsers

·         Experience in Consumer product and application testing is preferred.

·         Test management tool experience – ALM/Quality Center, JIRA etc.

·         Automation tools experience preferred – QTP, AutoIT

·         Good verbal and written communication skills.

·         Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving abilities.

·         Fast learner and flexible, be able to adapt to new areas and technologies with less monitoring.
