Job Description
1. Responsible for transforming business information into models , most often logical data models.
2. Develop conceptual logical data model and document business vocabulary for the base and semantic layers.
3. Develop attribute pool from source and business requirements.
4. Collaborate on developing/document modeling standards, processes and best practices.
5. Adhere to the standards and provide recommendations for changes based on Oracle best practices
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT expericne in Data analysis and modeling
- Experience using Data Modeling tools such As Erwin
- Experience with advanced analysis methodologies like data flow diagrams, case tool analysis, work and process flow diagrams, cost/benefit analysis.
- Strong Oracle, PL/SQL knowledge
- Good knowledge on Unix/Linux platform
- Domain experience in Banking preferred
- Knowledge on ETL tools such as Informatica is a plus
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in authoring technical documentation and performing reviews, design, data manipulation, and creative problem solving
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
