Exchange EDI Operations Staffing – Business Analyst
The EDI Operations team will provide transaction support to the Exchange through the identification, analysis, reporting, tracking, resolution and communication of sent and received transaction issues. The team will work internally with the maintenance, development and testing teams to support the resolution and correction of Exchange generated transaction issues, as well as Carrier generated transaction issues, and interface, communicate and coordinate with the Carriers to implement corrected transaction solutions. The EDI Ops team will also interface with Carriers for communication of all updates for documentation and manuals, transaction versions and technical solutions.
To support the Exchange EDI Operations, Secure Exchange Solutions will provide Business Analyst staff to support and take direction from the EDI Operations Manager. The roles and responsibilities will include the following:
· Identify errors reported by the B2B for inbound and outbound transactions
· Identify and document errors reported by Carriers
· Analyze the error and document the root cause and error trends
· Document errors in a ticketing system (Remedy, etc.) for assignment and tracking purposes
· Create a package of information to assist development, maintenance and testing in their efforts to correct the error
· Support problem escalation and resolution with Carriers
· Support problem escalation and resolution with CMS
· Communicate with the Carrier via email or phone about solutions and timing
· Develop and maintain reports identifying enrollments by Carrier
· Develop and maintain reports tracking errors, trends and solutions
· Maintain/update Carrier Integration Manual and forward to Carriers and internal staff at scheduled times
· Maintain/update Error Handling Manual and forward to Carriers and internal staff at scheduled times
· Support and send Reconciliation Files to CMS at scheduled times
· Maintain/update other Guides, Manuals and Reports; and forward to Carriers and internal staff at required
· Address any questions based on requirements outlined in the Exchange Manuals
· Manage and participate in scheduled Carrier calls
· Manage and participate in scheduled internals operational calls
· Perform other EDI support functions to resolve transaction conflicts
· View, acknowledge and identify potential data impacts to other business operations and systems based on understanding the Exchange operations and data requirements as well as the Carrier operations and business requirements.
