A self-starting LEAD database administrator responsible for a large UNIX based heterogeneous database environment - Oracle in development, test and laboratory pre-production environments.
This individual?s tool bag will consist of trouble shooting skills and innovative technical thinking.
? BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
? 6+ years
? experience in database administration with Primary skills of Oracle /Sybase/DB2
? Experience with UNIX/Linux
? Experience with disaster recovery, installation of software, creating databases
? Experience with database migration [mainly migration of any Database like Sybase, DB2 to Oracle database]
? Experience with high availability solutions (RAC, HADR, Replication / Simulated replication)
? Knowledge on Golden Gate would be given preference
? Knowledge of Big Data and Hadoop is added advantage
? Knowledge /some experience in DB2 is added advantage
