Position: UI Designer

Location: Bloomington, IL

Duration: 8 months

Rate: $45-50/hr C2C  

 

 

User-Centered Design Researcher

- Create products that satisfy business requirements while allowing users of the product to achieve their goals with speed, accuracy, and a satisfaction

- Conducts user-centered research (e.g., user and task analysis, conceptual design, iterative usability testing, and assessment usability testing) to guide the design, selection, and refinement of products and processes throughout the product development lifecycle

- Excellent research skills

- Ability to analyze large/small sample quantitative and qualitative data sets

- Experience in supporting UCD research in a large corporate environment is a plus UCD

- general process of gathering feedback from end-users throughout multiple phases (before, during, and after) of a product's development.

 

This is accomplished with various methods and techniques with the goal of: -

- Understanding the characteristics, problems, workflow, and goal of users within a given context of use

- Creating design concepts based on and validated by user input

- Assessing user performance on fully developed products for the purpose of benchmarking, comparison, or identification of changes needed for future releases
