SQL BI Developer

Location: Bluffton, SC

Duration:  12+ months

 

Job Responsibilities:

Mandatory Skills

•                    Must have 5+ years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server

•                    Thorough understanding of T-SQL programming

•                    Strong understanding of DBA concepts, .NET technologies and programming

•                    SSIS, DTS, Reporting Services

•                    Windows Server operating systems

•                    Schema design and implementation

•                    Create Stored Procedures, Views

•                    Tune queries for optimal performance

•                    Medical/insurance data experience a plus

•                    AS400 experience a plus

 

Desired Skills

•                    Design, develop and implement database designs from the ground up to stage, modify and load data received from various sources

•                    Create stored procedures for and with development group for use in enterprise application

•                    Modify existing stored procedures for optimization of applications

•                    Develop, model and design databases for new applications

•                    Modify existing database for greater scalability

•                    Validate incoming data for integration with internal systems

•                    Mentor/train junior DBAs in the organization

•                    Other as directed

•                    Perform ad hoc analysis in support of strategic projects that reduce medical cost trend.

 

 Job Responsibilities

•                    Participating in Scrum process

•                    Working with UX team to understand requirements

•                    Creating design documents

•                    Writing software code

•                    Conducting developer testing using unit tests

•                    Participating in code reviews

•                    Demonstrating user stories to stakeholders
