Please find below an urgent position with Client in San Jose, CA.

Position: Hadoop Developer/architect

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6 + Months (CTH)

Job Description:

-          8+ years of experience in database technologies

-          Experience in Big Data applications using Hadoop, Cloudera & MapR

-          Deep development knowledge on Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Mahout, Map Reduce etc

-          Strong experience with relational and parallel databases (Oracle, MySQL, PL/SQL)

-          Development experience on Hadoop migration

-          Dealt with text mining, NLP, analytics using R (Statistical Analysis Language)

-          Knowledge in Java is a plus
