Position: .Net Developer

Location: New Boston, MI

Duration: 6 months

F2F after phone screen

Required Skills:

• BS Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering. An equivalent combination of training and experience

may substitute for a degree.

• Microsoft VB.NET, ASP.NET, 3rd party web controls (Ex: Ajax) and high level language programming experience (4+ years)

• Experience in manufacturing plant environment and interaction

• Database concepts, SQL programming and data design / development (5-7 Years)

• Solid communication skills with clients and co-workers (peer, phone, email)

• Experience in software application development (5+years)

• Experience with networking and communications is desired (3+ Years)

• ASP.Net / VB.Net programming experience

• Microsoft extended portfolio of tools and applications

• Strong understanding and working knowledge of MS SQL

• Ability to create and maintain documentation in accordance to industry standards and system life cycle management

process requirements

• Able to operate with minimal supervision towards optimal performance.

• Knowledge of ERP, MES, SCADA, Historian, and other industrial software.

• Knowledge of Automotive Standards Specifications

• Cross cultural, communication and time management skills

• Demonstrate solid technical expertise in the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of the shop floor

systems to meet requirements of the business.

• Knowledge of Wonderware applications (Intouch and/or Intrack)

• Knowledge of OPC and shop floor communication protocols

• General understanding of ERP, MES, hardware infrastructure, quality, and manufacturing processes

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to maintain a good working relationship with internal and external customers and suppliers

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and ability to complete simultaneous tasks effectively to meet user and

management imposed deadlines.

Job Description:

• Analyze business requirements through user interaction or through project leader in order to translate requirements

into design specifications and functional code

• Support and maintain current functional code

• Participate in corrective actions, problem resolution, continuous improvement and quality assurance efforts

• Provide system analysis and design consulting services for global projects as needed

• Maintain and develop knowledge and skills relevant to technologies and applications to proactively recommend

solutions to business needs

• Maintain regular schedule of oral/written correspondence with team members and customers

• Ensure proper standards and procedures are followed in the development of new programs or in modifying existing code

including design documentation and test plans.

• Design and adapt the system to changing business processes and needs

• Develop and maintain MES1 software and user documentation

• Perform regular database maintenance and optimization to assure that performance and service levels are met

• Serve as third level support for deployed systems as needed.

• Design, develop and implement business applications or data mining and other management reporting as requested.

• Oversee and assure recurrent data integrity, validation and regression testing activities.

• Resolve all performance problems and technical support issues via collaborative system troubleshooting

• Basic project management role as required for affected systems

• Must successfully complete all INERGY required training

• Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures

• Must comply with all safety rules and regulations

• Unusual hours and travel may be required.

• Provide support to other positions as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
