Location:   Connecticut

Mandatory Skills:           Teradata Data Modeler

Desired Skills:                  Erwin, ETL

 

Job Description:

• In depth knowledge of business processes and business information models. 
• In depth knowledge of modeling methodologies and techniques. 
• In depth knowledge of the ERwin data modeling tool. 
• In depth knowledge of facilitation and conflict resolution processes
• Minimum of 5 years Teradata Modeling experience. 
• Physical database design and tuning as related to the ETL tool environment and implementation
• Bulk loading of source data, source data conditioning and validation
• Profiling of source data to determine appropriate ETL design and transformation rules
• Configuration management of ETL software to database structure.
• Evaluation and utilization of software products to assist in the management of data.
• Diagnosis of problems and resolution for application software.
• Interface with SQL and/or application developers for performance and data access requirements as related to ETL implementation
• BA or BS in Business or Computer Science.
• Minimum of five years experience deploying data warehouse and/or analytical solutions with ETL tools (ie Ab Initio, DataStage, Informatica) and/or Teradata Tools and Utilities
