Data Modeler

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 6 months contract

Need GC/ US Citizen

Responsibilities:

·         The Consumer Middleware Team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced data modeler with experience developing service interface specifications.  The individual must have the skills to understand industry data models and be able to extend them to support business and service needs.  Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and messaging is critical for the role.

·         Your primary focus will be to define and manage the service message model for the Consumer Middleware Platform.   You will define governance processes around data, determine the tooling to support the message model and drive the definition and evolution of the message model.  You will work in partnership with the platform architect, information architects and technical leads in the creation of services on the platform.

Required Skills:

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's Degree

·         5+ years' experience with data modeling techniques

·         3+ years' experience with industry data models in the financial services domain

·         Prior experience managing service message models

·         Experience with XML and service-oriented architectures

·         Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment

·         Work successfully on large enterprise-wide modeling efforts

·         Ability to communicate clearly

·         Proven track record of delivering results

·         Prior design and development experience with J2EE would be helpful
