Role: Network Design Engineer

 

Location: Harrisburg, PA

 

Join our client as a Network Design Engineer 1 in Harrisburg, PA for a contract position through 2015.  You will be responsible for the overall design, test and evaluation of Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), network segments, and Internet and Intranet systems. The NDE1 ensures the overall integrity of the network infrastructure. The NDE1 resolves difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms including E-Mail, files transfer, multimedia, and teleconferencing by applying advanced technical principles and works on unusually complex technical problems at an advanced level.  

 

BS or equivalent + 7 - 10 years experience with one or more of the following certifications:
o  Cisco CCIE
o  GIAC Security Essentials Certification
o  GIAC Security Leadership Certification
o  ISACA Certified Information Security Manager
o   Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security
o  CompTIA Security +
o  CISSP
Experience with Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention systems, antivirus and security breach procedures.
