Senior System & Software Analyst

7+ months

Houston, TX moving to Spring, TX in May

Best Rate: $55/hr on C2C

 

Looking for GC and USC

Note: For H1 While submitting I need consultant I 797 OR ID Proof.

 

·         Oil & Gas/ Energy/ Petroleum Industry experience is a huge advantage

·         Relocating candidates are welcome to apply

Position Details:
To help with package complex technical application in a computing environment following specific standards and guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

·         Understand and script technical applications for internal deployment

·         Configure/manage license software and other Infrastructure to support technical application

·         Manage testing infrastructure – Virtual/physical machines cluster to help business meet their testing needs

·         Support and enhance various tools developed in VBA, VB6 and VB.NET

 

Skills Required:

·         Advanced knowledge of AdminStudio Suite – most importantly InstallShield and Repackager

·         Advanced knowledge of Windows Installer/Installation packages: deep understanding of the products, features, components, key paths…Being able to manipulate custom actions, merge modules, custom dialogs, etc.

·         Advanced knowledge of VBScript (WSH, WMI), Win32 Shell scripting, PowerShell, Process Monitor and Process Explorer

·         Advanced knowledge of Windows Registry: Being able to manipulate and troubleshoot configuration settings and options

·         Working knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager 2007/2012: Creating/troubleshooting packages and advertisements, Application vs Packaging Model in SCCM 2012

·         Programming knowledge using VBA, VB.Net or C#, including diagnosing problems with .Net and C++ runtime libraries

·         Good understanding of Active Directory organization, SQL Server reporting, Windows API
