Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) with at least 10 years of marketing experience;
· 5+ years of this experience should be either in financial product marketing or capital markets/trading marketing and services.
· Strong knowledge of marketing principles and formulation of marketing strategy and robust programs
· Strong program and project management skills are paramount to the success of this role
· Ability to juggle, prioritize and balance competing goals, projects and personalities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise briefs, as well as review/direct FINRA approved content.
· Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated empathy and ability to communicate with institutional and capital markets sales staff.
· Fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Description :
· Intermediary Channel Marketing
· This is an opportunity for a polished and experienced marketing professional to step into a highly visible role working with State Street Global Advisors' Intermediary business in support of the SPDR ETF product line.
· As part of the Global Marketing team, the Contractor will define and develop, along with internal and agency partners, marketing collateral, campaigns, and sales-oriented "tactics" designed to promote SPDR ETFs in institutional, asset manager, and capital markets channels. Creation of these campaigns and content will require the ability to work with sales and trading teams - to identify and communicate to buy side clients pertinent product information such as fund structure, liquidity characteristics, and competitive attributes. The individual will develop project briefs, maintain and communicate the status - including issues, deliverables and project progression - in support of assigned initiatives. He/she will provide Senior Marketing leadership with relevant performance and supporting metrics on all initiatives/projects. The role reports to the Head of Intermediary Marketing and will be based in Boston.
This role will include the following responsibilities:
· Develop, alongside segment sales and business leaders, an integrated sales and marketing strategy for the institutional ETF distribution segments.
· Initiate needed research to inform strategy development, and ensure all relevant data and metrics are analyzed and available
· Oversee implementation of tactics across print, media and digital communications; and manage budgets accordingly.
· Proactively raise ideas for marketing programs and best practices.
· Maintain deep understanding of each segment's sales model, support needs, and competitive landscape - including competitive best practices.
· Maintain and communicate the status-including obstacles, deliverables and project progression-around a variety of project plans in support of current initiatives.
· Provide Senior Marketing leadership and sales management with reporting metrics on all initiatives/programs/projects.
