Job Description:

•         3 – 5 years of successful business analysis or project management experience including writing business requirements
•         3 – 5 years experience in the software development methodology lifecycle, including business planning, data analysis, process analysis and design, business and functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation
•         1 to 3 years experience developing use cases using a software development methodology
•         Experience working in a data warehouse environment is a plus
•         Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio)
•         Pharmacy or Healthcare knowledge highly-desirable
•         Experience with process improvement concepts a plus
•         Technical and development background a plus
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:

•         Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information
•         Listening skills, to understand what people say and to detect what they might be hesitant to say
•         Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, assess risk, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
•         Reasoning and decision-making skills, to determine and recommend solution alternatives that satisfy requirements while also meeting aggressive schedules and budgets
•         Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Visio)
•         Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
•         Previous “business intelligence” experience as well as micro strategy experience
